We envision a world where: every woman is seen, heard and trusted; a world where a woman’s race, ethnicity, nationality, spoken language, religion, gender identity, class, or ability no longer determines their health, dignity, well-being, autonomy or joy.
TheEMBRACe 'Sys'terhood (our system of women, birth support workers, healthcare, public health, social service professionals and other advocates) is transforming how we care for women and mamas! In the last year, here;s how we have cared for women in our community.
Investing more than $80,00 and countless hours to support the creation of cooperatively women-owned doula business, including their provision of free doula and child birth education to over 50 women
Organizing to bring mental health resources to the wider community, and
Nurturing our community by creating and delivering handmade gifts to mamas, gathering regularly with our "sys'terhood, and partnering with others in support of other groups in support of moms

When you donate today, you invest in the values that make better outcomes for women possible:
Courage: new innovative initiatives that prioritize the health, well-being, and dignity of women (like, the women-owned doula cooperative: 1,800 per doula client)
Belonging: welcoming and inclusive gatherings that include simultaneous bilingual interpretation (for example, $700 for a 2-hour event) and babysitting ($200 per 2-hour event)
Relationships: partnerships and collaboration that recognize our interdependence
Radical Hope: re-imagining systems of care by leaning into our inherent human capacity for compassion, goodness, and connection
Authenticity: a learning community that fails forward in pursuit of bold transformation
Generosity: money and resources directly invested in solutions identified and led by those most impacted by birth inequities (more than $300,000 directly invested in the community since our project began in 2020)
